        Always contact a wildlife agency in your area in the event  that you encounter an injured /orphaned bird of prey. Helpful contacts such as the Humane Society, local veterinarians ,Department of Natural resources, local police stations and wildlife groups can be a source of information for finding a wildlife rehabilitation facility nearest you.

MOST IMPORTANTLY DON’T WAIT TO CONTACT SOMEONE FOR HELP. WITH WILDLIFE IMMEDIATE PROFESSIONAL  HELP IS VITAL FOR ITS CHANCES OF SURVIVAL .SPECIALIZED CARE AND FEEDING SHOULD ONLY BE ATTEMPTED BY THOSE  EXPERIENCED IN WILDLIFE REHABILITATION.

In Ontario, Wildlife rehabilitators must now be licensed. These special permits are obtained by the Ministry of Natural Resources when specific criteria are met.
